I see their ads in my magazines and TV ads all the time. But, are they any good? I live in Florida and with Summer coming up the amount of rain and mud is enough to ruin any carpeted floor mats. They are cheaper than the OEM mats by a long shot but are they decent? Pictured: The car they’d be going in!

They’re great. I got a set for the front of my car for Christmas. They’ve been great at keeping the salt and slush out of the footwells.

I’ve had my C30 less than a week and have already made a mess of the driver mat which is why I need a set badly. Florida Summer= torrential rain every single afternoon
I might be buying a set later today

It depends. Sometimes they’re excellent. I seem to recall somebody making a ragey post on here about a year ago, though, because in his application they didn’t work well around his pedals, the hold-down fasteners themselves collected water, and there were other indignities.

They rock ! I swear by them in all of our cars .

I had a set in my XJ (1999 Jeep Cherokee). They are costly, but WELL worth the money if you are dragging muddy or snowy feet into your vehicle regularly.

If it can handle the Buffalo winters, it’ll handle the Florida showers.
They work so well because they have a lip that goes up around the entire mat, so you can literally just take it out and drain any liquid that might be in there without getting it all over the carpet.

As of right now, they are like 25% less than the OEM set so I feel like its a good deal.
I’ve already made a mess of my carpeted ones within a week because Florida rainy summers...

They are well worth it. Form fitting and easy to clean. No more musty carpet.

Well there’s two kinds.
The basic rubber mats like you get at the dealer (heavy, lots of sipes to catch poop, rears are usually trim-to-fit, grippy rubber)
The laser scanned fits down and around all the nooks and crannies kind (lighter, and seem more slippery and don’t have deep channels but fit exact)
They cost about the same as OE from what I have seen, but even the OE mats vary. Mazda mats run from $60 to $125 and they all are pretty much the same construction and style wise. You do pay a lot for shipping if you buy direct, so if you have a custom auto parts place in town that sells them, buy it from them. They usually buy in bulk and shouldn’t charge you any shipping.

They are awesome. But make sure to get the ones that are digitally scanned, so they run up the sides of the foot well. They are more money than their plain old flat mats, but worth it for sure.
I have a set for the front wells of my Sonic:

They are great. I’ve had them in my last 3 vehicles. I’ll always have them...when I have sold the cars they were in, the carpet was still brand new, didn’t even need to vacuum.
Make sure you’re looking at the Digital Fit floor liners, though. The All Weather Mats are less expensive, but are more similar in design to OEM rubber mats.

I have Rugged Ridge mats in my Grand Cherokee . They’re similar to WeatherTech but cheaper. They’re mostly just for Jeeps and trucks and stuff though. This is what they looked like last winter:
Husky Liners are also similar and cheaper than WeatherTech, and available in more applications. But...their site doesn’t list anything for Volvos.
You can get the OEM Volvo ones for pretty cheap on Amazon though .

It looks like your car piddled a puddle. DONT LET THE POODLE DRINK FROM IT

Should be ok. The OEM ones are $76.70 with me for the set. Not too bad. Will have Volvo lettering somewhere on there and a non rubber (thick fabric) square patch on the driver’s mat by the pedals where the heel of your foot rests . That is so the rubber won’t wear and a bit more comfy that rubber shoe on rubber mat.

Yes. They are great. I have bought 3 sets.

I had them in my last two cars, the Koa Soul, and Elantra, and they were absolutely perfect. I especially loved the fact that I could pull them out and hose them down whenever they were dirty. The only reason that I haven’t gotten a set for the subaru is that it came with all weather mats.

I’ve got the hard, fitted ones in my ST, and they’ve worked really well.
The important thing is they don’t get in the way of your feet, slide around, or feel strange while clutching.

They work pretty nicely. Good for sand, slush and whatever else ends up on the floor.
The OEM options suggested by Uly should be nice quality though, those usually look slightly better. I’ve got a set of OEM rubber mats in my A4 that weight about 15 pounds haha.
